On July 20, Nubia launched the Nubia Z50S Pro at a new product launch conference. As a newly launched flagship product with a straight imaging screen, the Nubia Z50S Pro is fully equipped with a flexible OLED straight screen exclusively supplied by BOE (BOE Technology Group Co., Ltd.). With super screen performance, ultra-high-definition images, all-round healthy eye protection and other industry-leading technologies, it brings users a new experience of super retinal eye protection display, demonstrating BOE's leading strength in flexible display applications in high-end flagship mobile phones and reshaping the new benchmark for the flexible display industry.
In terms of display quality, the Nubia Z50S Pro is equipped with a BOE 6.78-inch flexible OLED straight screen and adopts BOE's new generation Q9 luminescent material solution, which is optimized from the luminescent material and production process. The resolution is as high as 452PPI, meeting the 1.5k super retina screen display standard, bringing users excellent high-definition display perception and immersive visual shock experience. At the same time, with BOE's leading wide color gamut technology, the screen displays a DCI-P3 color gamut value of up to 100%, and the local peak brightness is as high as 1200nit. The display quality is clear and delicate, restoring the ultimate color, and the screen content is clearly visible even in strong light.
In terms of operating performance, the Nubia Z50S Pro supports multi-frequency dynamic refresh rate mode, is compatible with up to 120Hz high refresh rate, and is equipped with 720Hz multi-finger sampling rate, 1000Hz instantaneous sampling rate, and the screen touch operation is flexible and smooth, fully meeting the needs of multiple scenarios such as games, audio and video. It is worth mentioning that the Nubia Z50S Pro also adopts a new pixel arrangement method independently developed by BOE (BOE Technology Group Co., Ltd.), which optimizes the underlying logical structure of pixel display, greatly eliminates the subtle granularity of screen display, and brings people the ultimate visual experience.
In response to the pain points of eye damage caused by long-term use of mobile phones, the flexible OLED screen eye protection solution provided by BOE for Nubia Z50S Pro allows consumers to enjoy high-quality display images without worry. Nubia Z50S Pro is equipped with BOE's 2160Hz ultra-high frequency PWM dimming mode, which can greatly reduce the potential harm of screen flicker to the eyes in dark environments. In addition, with BOE's flexible OLED low blue light technology, based on the new generation of Q9 luminescent materials, the core luminescent structure unit of the screen is optimized to effectively reduce the harmful blue light transmission of the screen, providing double protection for the user's vision health to the maximum extent.
As a global leader in semiconductor display, BOE has been deeply involved in the field of flexible OLED for more than ten years, with more than 28,000 related patent applications. Through continuous innovation, it has pioneered dynamic refresh LTPO technology and ultra-high frequency PWM dimming technology, and realized multi-functional intelligent integration such as under-screen camera, under-screen fingerprint, and 3D touch. Its "screen strength" has enabled many smart terminal products in full-screen display, free form, and functional integration. Looking to the future, BOE will continue to develop the flexible display track with innovative technologies and cutting-edge products, leading new smart terminal products to present thousands of forms, and bringing more new experiences from flexible display technology to hundreds of millions of consumers around the world.
