According to a list published by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) on March 16, Google has obtained a new patent called "Self-aligning Wireless Charger", which describes a circular charger that wirelessly charges smartphones, smart watches, and headphones by dynamically adjusting the position of the magnetic coil.
The relevant demonstration pictures are as follows: Figure 1A is a perspective view of the wireless charger. The magnetic coil inside the disc can automatically align the digital device that needs to be charged according to the placement of the device.
Figure 1C is a schematic diagram showing that the magnetic coil can be dynamically adjusted according to the placement of the digital device. Figure 2A is an internal design diagram showing that the chassis is equipped with multiple electromagnetic points (electromagnets) serving the magnetic coil, which can achieve stable power output.
