On November 21, the new image configuration of OPPO Reno9 series was officially announced. At the same time, OPPO released multiple sets of portrait comparison proofs, demonstrating the power of the dual-core portrait computing engine.

OPPO officially announced that the Reno9 series will continue to be equipped with OPPO’s self-developed image-specific NPU chip - Mariana® MariSilicon X. As the first independent image-specific NPU chip for mobile devices, Mariana® MariSilicon , four major breakthroughs in real-time RAW computing. The Reno9 series equipped with Mariana® MariSilicon X supports dual-core 4K ultra-clear night scene video, dual-core 4K HDR video and chip-level APP camera enhancement.
Powerful imaging chip, coupled with dual front and rear flagship portrait lenses . The new generation of Reno9 is equipped with a 32-megapixel super-sensitive cat-eye lens customized in depth with Sony on the front. It integrates OPPO’s self-developed RGBW image fusion unit to further improve color restoration and low-light shooting capabilities. At the same time, the entire series supports AF autofocus system. , the whole scene selfie is super clear. The Reno9 series is equipped with a 50-megapixel Sony flagship main camera on the rear, which supports OIS optical image stabilization, and has a higher filming rate in scenes such as snapshots and night scenes. Sony's customized sensors, combined with self-developed 3A algorithms and self-developed imaging NPU, witness the comprehensive customization and self-development of core imaging technology.

At the same time, the new generation of Reno9 series portrait algorithms have evolved again and been upgraded to a new dual-core portrait calculation engine. The upgraded algorithm can significantly improve the resolution and dynamic range of the film, while retaining a soft and natural look and feel. It can play a significant advantage in low-light scenes such as dark light and backlight, and create shooting effects with clear details and realistic colors. The new OPPO Reno9 series uses lossless computational photography to allow users to easily retain the transparency of light and shadow, the vividness of night colors, and the brilliance of backlighting.
