On May 17, the top-end version of the OPPO Reno8 series, Reno8 Pro+, was put on sale for pre-order on the OPPO Mall. The new product will officially debut at 19:00 on May 23.
The reservation page shows that OPPO Reno8 Pro+ is available in three colors: Happy Green, Roaming Gray and Undercurrent Black, and in two options: 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB.
The phone comes pre-installed with ColorOS 12.1 operating system, which provides 36 months of smooth service, thanks to the Self-Smooth Engine 2.0 and Quantum Animation Engine 3.0 equipped with ColorOS.
Specifically, the AI self-smoothing engine can intelligently identify hot and cold data, and separate hot and cold data through targeted compression and scenario-based cleaning, solving the problem of storage fragmentation and making the phone smoother with each use. The quantum animation engine adjusts more than 300 animation details to make each slide more realistic, smooth and intuitive.
In addition, OPPO Reno8 Pro+ uses an ultra-narrow bezel flexible straight screen, is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 flagship processor, and is also equipped with OPPO's self-developed chip MariaSilicon X, a 6nm imaging-specific NPU chip manufactured by TSMC.
It is reported that Mariana MariSilicon X integrates OPPO's self-developed, industry-leading MariLumi image processing unit, which can support up to 20-bit image processing and Ultra HDR ultra-dynamic range, and the picture light ratio can reach up to 1000000:1, which is four times the performance of the current top platform.
With MariaSilicon X, the imaging capabilities of OPPO Reno8 Pro+ will be greatly improved, which is worth looking forward to.
