The official Windows Insider Twitter account notified users that Windows developers will not be able to get a "usable release candidate" this week. Microsoft said they have done their best and the new version may arrive early next week.

The latest Microsoft Dev preview version is 22598, which brings new features such as Spotlight testing 4K desktop wallpaper and Media Player player library experience.

Earlier this week, Microsoft released the 22598.200 (KB5014105) cumulative update for the Dev/Beta preview test version. This update does not contain any new content and is intended to test the service pipeline built in the Dev and Beta channels.

Microsoft is preparing for the next major feature update of Windows 11, version 22H2, codenamed Sun Valley 2, which will bring a series of appearance and performance improvements.
