On the afternoon of April 20, at the Huawei Terminal Commercial Office New Product Launch Conference, Huawei announced its full entry into the commercial field. Huawei's "Consumer Business" has been renamed "Huawei Terminal Business". In the future, Huawei's terminal business will cover two modules: consumer products and commercial products. Consumer products will continue to focus on serving the general public, while commercial products will focus on serving government and corporate customers.
At the press conference, Richard Yu, Huawei's executive director, CEO of the device business, and CEO of the intelligent automotive solutions BU, said: "The name of Huawei's consumer business has gone through a decade. Today, we have changed our name to Huawei's device business and fully entered the commercial market. Over the past decade, we have been creating the ultimate product experience for consumers, which has been unanimously recognized by the market. In the future, Huawei will bring the boutique experience from consumer-grade products to the commercial field, and create a better product experience for commercial customers based on the three DNAs of Huawei's terminal commercial products: quality, intelligence, and reliability."
Huawei believes that after the 1.0 era centered on commercial desktops and the 2.0 era of multi-device integration, the commercial equipment market is now entering the 3.0 era of cloud and AI, and commercial office electronic equipment is evolving towards intelligence. At this turning point, Huawei Terminal combines its understanding of commercial business with its successful experience in the consumer field to provide commercial customers with better design technology and a smarter user experience.
Yu Chengdong mentioned that Huawei's tablets, smart screens, wearables and other products, relying on the 17 standard customization capabilities and 9 open capabilities brought by HarmonyOS, meet the multi-dimensional management needs of governments and various enterprises for terminal devices and empower thousands of industries. Customers can customize brand logos, settings, and desktops. It also opens peripheral capabilities, SDKs, and industry system docking capabilities to meet the various customized needs of commercial customers.
At the terminal cloud service level, Huawei brings smart office through pre-installed application market, cloud space, browser, smart assistant, smart search and other applications. It also creates HEM solutions for enterprises based on the basic capabilities of HMS Core Kits, claiming that it can achieve end-to-end smart device control and full-scenario access and management of various smart devices.
HEM (HUAWEI Enterprise Manager) is a full-scenario intelligent device management and control solution provided by Huawei Terminal Cloud Service for enterprise customers. It covers Huawei mobile phones, notebooks, tablets, smart screens, wearable devices and other terminals, and realizes automated device deployment.
Based on the payment engine capabilities, Huawei provides customized full-scenario payment solutions for government, enterprise, and SME customers - Huawei Pay. Huawei Pay provides a full range of payment products and services including payment, fund management, clearing, and account management, covering multiple systems and multiple terminal devices in all scenarios, helping enterprises to achieve one-time access while meeting multiple payment needs such as App, H5/Quick App, and HarmonyOS service cards.
At present, Huawei's terminal commercial solutions have already been implemented.
Based on Huawei's software and hardware ecosystem and service system, Huawei terminals have provided numerous commercial solutions for governments and various large, medium and small enterprises, such as paperless office, smart classrooms, computer classrooms, mine employee safety operation collaboration, interactive insurance solutions and other industry-level product solutions to create a safe, reliable and intelligent experience.
In the government and enterprise office field, there are many types of meetings with high frequency, and the layout of the venue, printing of materials, organization of meeting minutes, and the cover of meeting materials are all labor-intensive. Huawei Xiu'an and Fujian Yirong Information Technology Co., Ltd. use Huawei Tablet C5 to create a paperless meeting solution, using HarmonyOS to help State Grid Corporation of China go paperless in all scenarios before, during, and after meetings, and review meeting materials.
