Xiaomi launched its Civi series of smartphones last year, which focused more on design and front-facing cameras. The company is all set to launch the Xiaomi Civi S, an iterative version of the first-generation Civi, rather than a second-generation device.
According to the whistleblower Digital Chat Station, the Xiaomi Civi S smartphone will be launched later this month and will be available in the Chinese market next month.
As for the design, the smartphone is expected to be similar to the Xiaomi Mi 12, but with a focus on the thinness of the device and a better front-facing camera sensor.
Previous news showed that the phone will use a 6.55-inch AMOLED LTPO curved screen, providing full HD+ screen resolution and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.
Internally, it will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.
