Xiaomi launched two flagship models this year, Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro, but the rumored super cup was not unveiled at the same time.
Blogger @数码闲聊站 revealed that Xiaomi's super cup flagship is code-named l1. The phone has a rear triple-camera system and is Xiaomi's top imaging flagship this year. It may be named Xiaomi MIX 5 or Xiaomi 12 Ultra.
According to the exposed protective case, Xiaomi's top imaging flagship has several openings on the back, which seems to indicate that the phone has more than three cameras.
In this regard, @数码闲聊站 explained that both the main and secondary cameras use new technologies and new module solutions, as well as dual anti-shake and hidden auxiliary imaging sensors, which requires the protective case to have many holes.
In addition to being equipped with a triple-camera system, Xiaomi's top imaging flagship will join hands with Leica.

As we all know, Leica has cooperated with HUAWEI, and HUAWEI has brought the most classic "German flavor" to the mobile phone field. Through this cooperation, HUAWEI has soared in the field of photography. At the same time, HUAWEI has enhanced its brand influence and successfully established itself in the ultra-high-end mobile phone market.
Now that Xiaomi has joined hands with Leica, its imaging capabilities will be further improved. In fact, before joining hands with Leica, Xiaomi had already made a top-level imaging flagship.
In the first half of last year, Xiaomi released the ultra-high-end flagship Xiaomi 11 Ultra, positioned as the "Light of Android".
One of the biggest highlights of this phone is imaging. Xiaomi 11 Ultra is the world's first to use Samsung's GN2 image sensor, combined with self-developed Night Owl algorithm and calibration. It topped the DXOMARK list as soon as it was released, becoming the smartphone with the best imaging at the time.
Now with the help of Leica, it is possible that Xiaomi's top imaging flagship will once again dominate the DXOMARK list. This will be Xiaomi's "Android Light in 2022."
