Earlier today, OPPO shared a new news on its official Weibo account.
The company has revealed that it will be working with Hasselblad to equip its next flagship Find X series smartphones with cameras.
Hasselblad is a well-known professional camera manufacturer from Sweden. In the past, it has cooperated with other mobile phone brands such as OnePlus, and now it is cooperating with OPPO.
According to the official statement, OPPO said that its partnership with Hasselblad also includes major technological innovations. OPPO will focus on the joint research and development of color with Hasselblad through two major technological innovations, computational color and computational optics, to create a new experience for mobile phone cameras.
“Building on the successful collaboration between OnePlus and Hasselblad over the past year, we are very pleased to enter a new phase in our collaboration with Hasselblad to bring the Hasselblad mobile imaging experience to more users around the world,” said Pete Lau, Senior Vice President and Chief Product Officer of OPPO. “Color performance is what OPPO insists on and is part of Hasselblad’s DNA, and we are very excited to explore together the future of Hasselblad imaging experience on smartphones.”
It is reported that the cooperation between Hasselblad and OPPO will last up to 3 years.
