vivo recently held a joint press conference with the three major telecom companies (China Telecom, China Unicom and China Mobile), announcing that vivo has cooperated with the three major telecom companies to develop the upcoming latest smartwatch vivo Watch 2.
At the event, vivo unveiled the design of vivo Watch 2 to the public.
As can be seen from the pictures, the vivo Watch 2 uses a round dial and replaceable straps. The case is silver, and there is also a black version. There are two physical buttons on the right side of the watch, and from the dial, there is actually a black border.
Another announcement at the launch event was support for standalone eSIM text messages on the vivo Watch 2. This is the first time the company has supported a standalone eSIM, and the watch can now receive text messages without being connected to a phone via Bluetooth or even to the internet via Wi-Fi.
The vivo Watch 2 is said to come with an OLED display, a heart rate tracker, built-in GPS, a step counter, and a 515mAh battery, which is an improvement over the 478mAh battery in the 2020 vivo Watch last year.
