Zhonghuan Semiconductor: It is expected to achieve a monthly production capacity of 750,000 8-inch wafers and 170,000 12-inch wafers by the end of the year

Recently, an investor asked Zhonghuan Semiconductor on an interactive platform, "What is the company's current semiconductor silicon wafer production capacity? What is expected by the end of 2021? What is expected by the end of 2022? Where does the company purchase silicon materials for semiconductor silicon wafers? Imported or domestic? Does the company purchase silicon materials for semiconductor silicon wafers from Xinhua Semiconductor?"

Zhonghuan Semiconductor said that as of the end of the third quarter, the production capacity of semiconductors was 650,000 pieces/month for 8-inch wafers and 100,000 pieces/month for 12-inch wafers; it is expected to achieve 750,000 pieces/month for 8-inch wafers and 170,000 pieces/month for 12-inch wafers by the end of 2021. The procurement of raw materials will be adjusted accordingly based on the company's order requirements and product structure.

It is worth mentioning that recently, Zhonghuan shares disclosed its third quarter report, which pointed out that from July to September 2021, the company achieved operating income of 11.445 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 141.84%, and net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies was 1.281 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 316.08%. In the first three quarters of 2021, Zhonghuan shares achieved operating income of 29.089 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 117.46%, and net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies was 2.761 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 226.29%.
