According to foreign media 91Mobile, a Xiaomi mobile phone patent with a rotating selfie camera has been approved. The patent was submitted in November 2020 and was publicly included by the China National Intellectual Property Administration this week. The biggest highlight of this phone is the rotating selfie camera, which has a semi-circular camera module that can rotate 180 degrees from the top frame. Judging from the picture, the front of the module should be equipped with dual cameras.
When the user enables the front camera, the module will automatically rotate 180 degrees to reveal the selfie camera. In this way, the company can provide a complete full-screen experience. In fact, Xiaomi has previously applied for a mobile phone with a semi-circular shape on the top, but the patent was fixed at that time, while this patent can be rotated. Xiaomi's patent shows that it has at least dual cameras on the back, as well as an LED flash.
