The Jiangsu Provincial Patent Administrative Adjudication System has launched a system to facilitate patent holders to protect their rights online.

According to Jiwei.com, on April 20, the launching ceremony of Jiangsu Province’s Patent Administrative Adjudication System was held in Nanjing.

According to the information from Jiangsu Provincial Intellectual Property Protection Center, the system was independently developed by Jiangsu Provincial Intellectual Property Protection Center. It relies on the Jiangsu Provincial Intellectual Property Big Data Platform to provide a unified service and management portal for the general public and government management departments of intellectual property rights. It has modules such as public rights protection, business processing of administrative law enforcement personnel, query statistics, information management, law enforcement docking and credit supervision, and realizes the full process information management of patent administrative adjudication case acceptance, filing, approval, case handling and case closure.

This means that from now on, patent owners can directly apply for case filing and submit evidence and other materials online through the patent administrative adjudication system, making it easier for patent owners to protect their rights online.

In addition, for patent law enforcement personnel, the system realizes standardized and intelligent management of case handling procedures, has a time limit monitoring function, and can provide intelligent reminders. Using the system will standardize the case handling process, ensure administration according to law, and improve case handling efficiency.

It is understood that the number of patent authorizations in Jiangsu Province in 2020 increased by 58.77% year-on-year; the number of invention patents per 10,000 people reached 36.14, ranking first among all provinces and regions in the country.
