Microsoft announces completion of acquisition of ZeniMax

     On the morning of March 10, Microsoft announced today that it has officially completed the acquisition of American game publisher ZeniMax Media. Because of this acquisition, a total of 8 game studios under ZeniMax, including Bethesda Game Studios, id Software, and ZeniMax Online Studios, joined the Xbox team.

　　Bethesda Softworks is an American game publisher and a subsidiary of Zenimax Media. Bethesda was founded in Maryland, USA in 1986. It has many game series of different themes and types. The most well-known series are The Elder Scrolls series and Fallout series.

　　At present, the acquisition has been officially completed, and Microsoft announced that it will work with them to bring more high-quality game works to global players. This is the first step for Microsoft to build an industry-leading first-party game studio team.

　　With the addition of the Bethesda creative team, there may be more exclusive games for Xbox consoles, PCs, and Xbox Game Pass for Xbox and PC platform players.

　　After the acquisition was completed, Microsoft announced that it hopes to ensure that Bethesda can create and develop according to the previous model, and also looks forward to helping Bethesda bring better game works to players around the world, in terms of scale and popularity.

　　At the same time, to celebrate the completion of the acquisition, Microsoft will add more games from Bethesda to the Xbox Game Pass game library later this week.
