According to German blog WinFuture, Fitbit will release the children's bracelet Ace 3 on March 15, which is an upgraded version of the Ace 2 launched by Fitbit in March 2019.
WinFuture has released some leaked images of the Ace 3, and it can be seen that the Ace 3 uses a dual-color design like the Ace 2. This wearable device has a 1.47-inch OLED touch screen with a resolution of 240x240 pixels and supports animated clock desktop.
IT Home learned that the Ace 3 shell is made of engineering plastic and weighs 70 grams. The wristband is detachable and the body supports 50 meters of waterproof function. The Ace 3 is equipped with a physical button, a pedometer, and supports sleep monitoring and exercise monitoring modes, including running, hiking and cycling. As a cheap wearable device, the Ace 3 is not equipped with a heart rate sensor.
Fitbit Ace 3 will be compatible with Android and iOS devices, and all data will be available to children and their parents through the Fitbit app. Sources say it will have an 8-day battery life and can be fully charged in 2 hours. Compared with the previous generation, both charging speed and battery life have been improved.
IT Home learned that Google officially acquired the wearable device brand Fitbit for US$2.1 billion on January 14 this year. Currently, Fitbit has sold more than 120 million devices worldwide and has a wide user base.
