On January 18, in response to the news that OPPO's former vice president and global marketing president Shen Yiren will return to OPPO and continue to serve in a key position in the marketing line, Shen Yiren responded on Weibo, saying, "Thank you for your concern. I am still recuperating. I will share the news with you when I have it."
Shen Yiren's response did not deny that he would return to OPPO, but he said that he is still recuperating and has not returned to OPPO. If he returns, he will definitely share it with everyone.
According to people familiar with the matter, Brian Shen, former vice president and president of global marketing of OPPO, is about to return to OPPO and continue to serve in a key position in the marketing line. The initial time of his return is scheduled to be after the Spring Festival. Brian Shen's return is likely to be invited by OPPO founder Tony Chen.
In response to this, OPPO officially stated: "There are no relevant personnel changes."
During his seven years at OPPO, Shen Yiren led the marketing and promotion of products such as N3, R5, R7, R9, R11, R15, and Find X. The most classic marketing case is the well-known slogan "5 minutes of charging, 2 hours of talk time".
On the whole, if OPPO’s internal senior management recognizes Shen Yiren’s abilities, his return is only a matter of time.
