This afternoon, the well-known blogger @数码闲聊站 broke the news about Honor V40 again. He revealed that the phone uses a three-camera + laser focus solution, in which the main camera is a Sony IMX7xx sensor with a large bottom of 1/1.5x.
It is reported that the Honor V40 will be equipped with a 1/1.5x large-bottom main camera
Later, some netizens exposed the offline poster of Honor V40 in their comments and confirmed the camera parameters of the phone.
The Honor V40 will adopt a rear triple-camera solution with specifications of 50-megapixel ultra-sensitive main camera + 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens + 2-megapixel macro lens, and also has a laser focus module.

As the saying goes, "a bigger sensor is a killer." As the size of the sensor increases, the pixel's photosensitive area will become larger, which will allow for greater light intake, a larger dynamic range, and better noise control, resulting in better image quality.
In addition, the Honor V40 main camera will also adopt the RYYB design, which increases the amount of light entering by nearly 40% compared to the traditional RGGB sensor, and can greatly improve the night shooting effect. Huawei has repeatedly topped the DxOMark list with this technology.
In addition to its excellent camera configuration, the Honor V40 is also powerful in terms of the screen this time. It is equipped with Honor's best 1 billion color retina-level super-sensitive screen to date, supports 120Hz refresh rate, 300Hz screen sampling rate, and also supports under-screen fingerprint recognition.

In terms of configuration, the Honor V40 will be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ processor, equipped with LPDDR4x memory + UFS2.1 flash memory technology, a built-in 4000mAh (typical value) battery, and support 66W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging.
This is also the first time that Honor has adopted MediaTek's flagship processor. According to the latest evaluation data from Master Lu, the software and hardware adjustments of Honor V40 are excellent, and it has surpassed flagship models such as iPhone 12 in many tests. This also demonstrates Honor's strong R&D capabilities.
Honor V40 will be officially released next Monday (January 18), so stay tuned.
