Not long ago, Changying Precision issued an announcement stating that it had prepared a report on the issuance of shares to specific objects. Based on the investors' subscription quotations and in strict accordance with the procedures and rules for the issue price, issue objects and number of allocated shares specified in the subscription invitation letter, the issue price was determined to be 20.88 yuan per share, the number of shares issued was 90,996,168 shares, and the total amount of funds raised was approximately 1.9 billion yuan.
According to the private placement plan disclosed by Changying Precision, the 1.9 billion yuan of funds raised from this additional issuance will be invested in two projects, Shanghai Lingang New Energy Vehicle Components (Phase I) and 5G Smart Terminal Modules.
Previously, in order to gradually concentrate the company's new energy business in Shenzhen, Kunshan and Suzhou High-tech Zone, and provide nearby services to major customers such as Tesla, Mercedes-Benz, SAIC and Geely, Changying Precision established Shanghai Lingang Changying New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. in Shanghai Lingang in March this year. Lingang Changying will mainly focus on new energy electric vehicle high and low voltage electrical connectors, power battery structural parts and hydrogen fuel cell battery bipolar plate projects.
Changying Precision said that the company's new energy vehicle business grew by more than 70% last year. In the future, the development direction of the new energy vehicle field will mainly include electrical connection products, power battery structural parts, charging pile charging guns and metal plates of hydrogen energy batteries.
