On November 17, several companies issued a joint statement in the Shenzhen Special Zone Daily that Shenzhen Zhixin New Information Technology Co., Ltd. has signed an acquisition agreement with Huawei Investment Holding Co., Ltd. to complete the full acquisition of Honor brand-related business assets. After the sale, Huawei no longer holds any shares in the new Honor company.

Data shows that Shenzhen Expressway indirectly holds the equity of Shenzhen Zhixin through participating in Shenzhen State-owned Assets Collaborative Development Private Equity Fund Partnership (Limited Partnership). In response to this, Shenzhen Expressway said in an interview with reporters that it only participated in the Shenzhen State-owned Assets Collaborative Development Fund, and the acquisition of Honor Mobile Phones was operated by the fund and it was not directly involved.
