On November 8, at the 2020 Tianyi Smart Ecosystem Expo, Unigroup Spreadtrum and China Telecom signed a "Cloud Terminal" strategic cooperation agreement, and will jointly promote the industrial development of cloud terminals in the 5G era and lead the healthy development of cloud intelligent terminals and ecology in the 5G era.

According to the agreement, the two parties will start from the product and technology fields of cloud + terminal, and carry out in-depth cooperation in four aspects, including cloud ecology, creation of integrated innovation laboratories, technology and standards, terminal chips and product solutions. Specifically, they will jointly build a future-oriented terminal cloud platform, jointly explore innovations in 5G applications through the creation of integrated innovation laboratories, jointly promote the establishment of international standards and industry standards in the fields of cloud ecology, industrial Internet of Things, smart home, etc., strengthen strategic cooperation in cloud intelligent terminals, and jointly build differentiated cloud terminal capabilities and ecology.
