Lenovo releases the world's first foldable screen laptop, priced at 19,199 yuan

Lenovo recently officially released the world's first foldable screen laptop, the ThinkPad X1 Fold. Officials said that ThinkPad took more than four years to develop, and made breakthroughs in design, craftsmanship, performance, durability, heat dissipation, and complete machine solutions, and finally launched the mass-produced foldable screen laptop ThinkPad X1 Fold, priced from 19,199 yuan.

The ThinkPad X1 Fold Wi-Fi 256GB stand-alone version is priced at 19,199 yuan, the ThinkPad X1 Fold Wi-Fi 512GB version comes with a mini keyboard and stylus, priced at 21,999 yuan; the ThinkPad X1 Fold 5G version comes with a mini keyboard and stylus, and comes with 120GB of free data for half a year, priced at 23,999 yuan. Reservations are now open on Lenovo's official mall, JD Mall, and Tmall flagship store.

It is reported that the ThinkPad X1 Fold uses a 13.3-inch 2K OLED folding screen with a resolution of 2048×1535, an aspect ratio of 4:3, and supports DCIP-P3 high color gamut and 300nits brightness. The dimensions are 27.8x158.2x236mm when folded, and 11.5x299.4x236mm when unfolded, and weighs about 999 grams.

The ThinkPad X1 Fold's folding screen is made up of 5 layers of screens, and with the unique folding hinge design, it has passed the durability test of more than 30,000 openings and closings. In addition, the X1 Fold uses a magnesium alloy frame and carbon fiber shutters to support up to 5 layers of folding screens, ultimately ensuring that the 13.3-inch ultra-large OLED screen is flat and smooth at any angle, perfectly presented.

The ThinkPad X1 Fold is equipped with an Intel Core i5-L16G7 processor, built-in 8GB of LPDDR4 memory and a 256/512GB SSD, provides a 5-megapixel front camera, a battery capacity of 50Whr, and a standard 65W Type-C charger, with a battery life of up to 10.4 hours. 

Thanks to the folding screen design, the X1 Fold can be used in a variety of forms such as "book style", "desktop laptop style", "tablet style", and "upright". When paired with the Lenovo Fold mini keyboard, you can experience the traditional keyboard input feeling in desktop laptop mode and upright mode; in tablet mode, you can use the Lenovo Mod Pen stylus to experience the perfect paper and pen writing experience. 

In terms of interaction, it also supports Lenovo Mode Switcher, which can realize one-click split-screen and dual-screen collaborative interaction switching, and instantly transform two 9.6-inch screens into split-screen browsing. Lenovo Voice can easily complete voice control, voice transcription, translation, and real-time subtitles.
