Every time a new iPhone is released, the size of the memory is of great concern. According to the plist file in the Xcode 12.1 beta version viewed by foreign media MacRumors, the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max are equipped with 6GB of memory, while the low-end iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini have 4GB of memory.

These plist files have accurately revealed the memory size of several generations of iPhones. In addition, the Geekbench running results of the suspected iPhone 12 Pro also show that the iPhone 12 Pro is equipped with 6GB of memory.

Additionally, a Geekbench result that appears to be for the iPhone 12 Pro also lists the device as having 6GB of RAM. In comparison, the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max all come with 4GB of RAM.

With the increase in memory and the faster A14 Bionic chip, the performance of the iPhone 12 Pro should be greatly improved. Judging from the benchmark results of the iPhone 12 Pro, the single-core performance of the A14 chip is roughly the same as the new iPad Air, but its multi-core score has dropped significantly. This may be due to running Geekbench shortly after setting up the iPhone, which is not well optimized, which will cause the score to be temporarily low. We need to wait for further benchmark results to confirm.

iPhone 12 mini will be available for pre-order at 21:00 Beijing time on November 6, and will be available on November 13; iPhone 12 will be available for pre-order at 20:00 on October 16, and will be available on October 23; iPhone 12 Pro will be available for pre-order at 20:00 on October 16, and will be available on October 23; iPhone 12 Pro Max will be available for pre-order at 20:00 on November 6, and will be available on November 13.
