OnePlus 8 series gets Android 11 stable version update

On October 13, news from the official OnePlus community showed that today, the [Hydrogen OS11 official version] based on Android 11 for OnePlus 8/OnePlus 8 Pro has been pushed in grayscale, and users in some regions have already received the OTA.

Officials said that since this version is OnePlus' first stable version of Android 11, there may be compatibility issues with some third-party apps. Such issues require third-party apps to actively adapt, and OnePlus will actively communicate and promote them. If users encounter related problems, they can feedback to the third-party app team to jointly promote adaptation.

Game Space

• New game toolbox, supports quick opening of e-sports mode, and switching between three notification methods (text reminder, floating notification, and complete blocking) to bring you a more immersive gaming experience

• Added quick reply operation in WeChat and QQ small window mode (in game mode, you can automatically open it by pulling down the upper left or right corner of the screen)

• Added a new feature to prevent accidental touches in the notification bar in game mode. After turning it on, you need to pull down the top and click to pop up the notification bar.

Always-On Display

• Added a new feature that allows you to set the screen to always on, with the option to turn it on at a certain time or all day (setting path: Settings - Display - Always on screen)

• Added a custom “Time” screen-off display style, designed in collaboration with students from the Parsons School of Design, which changes based on phone usage data (setting path: Settings - Personalization - Clock Style)

• Zen mode offers five new themes, including Ocean, Space, Grassland, Meditation and Sunrise, with more duration options for you to choose

• Meditation mode now supports multi-person meditation, you can invite friends to meditate together
