According to well-known whistleblower @Apple Lab yesterday, all iPhone 12 models will adopt a pure flat glass design.
Except for Apple, most manufacturers' flagship phones currently have one or more models with curved or waterfall screens. Apple's previously launched iPad Pro 2020 uses a flat front glass design, so the iPhone 12 series may adopt a similar design. The use of a flat panel design can make the phone easier to hold and help reduce costs.
IT Home learned that the well-known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo previously believed that the iPhone 12 series will include a 2D/2.5D panel design.
According to current information, the iPhone 12 series will include four models in three sizes, equipped with an A14 chip and a Snapdragon X60 modem. It will be released normally in September and will be available in October. In addition, the iPhone 12 series will be upgraded to a new 20W USB-C charger, but it will not be included in the box.
