Today, a digital blogger on Weibo exposed a Kirin icon. It is reported that Huawei has applied for a trademark for the icon.
According to Qichacha data, the icon was applied for trademark registration on June 16 and is classified as "scientific instrument". If nothing unexpected happens, it should be a proprietary logo of Huawei's Kirin chip.
Judging from the icon, the new Kirin chip logo is cute and adorable, with eyebrows and beard in the shape of auspicious clouds, the Huawei Kirin logo on the chest, and two small wings on the back. In the words of the blogger, "Look carefully at this icon, there is a hint of joy in the arrogance."
At present, the main Kirin mobile phone chips include Kirin 990 5G, Kirin 985, Kirin 820, etc. These three chips have been widely used in Huawei and Honor mobile phones.
Recently, the well-known market research organization Strategy Analytics released a report on smartphone application processor (AP) revenue data for the first quarter of 2020.
The report shows that HiSilicon ranks second with a 20% share, surpassing Apple (15%).
