According to Republicworld, HMD Global announced that Nokia 9 PureView has officially landed in India, priced at 49,999 Indian rupees (about 5,030 yuan). The phone is currently available for purchase through Flipkart and Nokia online stores, and will also be available through offline sales channels starting July 17.
"I know that partners and fans across the country have been eagerly waiting for Nokia 9 PureView to come to India, a phone that lets you shoot like a pro while enjoying the convenience of non-destructive and professional editing directly on your smartphone," said Ajey Mehta, Vice President and Head of HMD Global India, at a press conference. "Nokia invites photography enthusiasts to experience the joy of photography with Nokia 9 PureView."
It is understood that Nokia 9 PureView is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM as standard. The phone uses a conventional 5.99-inch 2K screen, supports HDR10, and integrates Qi wireless charging and screen fingerprint technology.
Nokia 9 PureView has five Zeiss rear cameras with no protruding lenses. Each camera has 12 million pixels (f/1.8 aperture) and consists of two color lenses and three black-and-white lenses. The lenses are controlled by a dedicated ASIC chip, which can provide secondary focus and ultra-high dynamic range.
Officials said that the five cameras on the back of the phone are all equipped with autofocus motors, which can work in coordination with each other to achieve five shots at the same time and achieve 60 million original pixels; after that, the phone uses the AI performance of the Snapdragon processor and combines various calculations to merge into an ultra-clear 12-megapixel image.
