On July 1, the Xiantao Municipal Government of Hubei Province signed a "Graphene Production and Sales" project with Taiwan Anju Technology Co., Ltd., Shanghai Enneng New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., and Wuhan Zhongneng Guanneng New Materials Co., Ltd.
According to the agreement, the total investment of the project is 1.5 billion yuan, and 10 production lines will be built within 5 years. The initial investment is 150 million yuan, and it is expected to be put into production in 2020, with annual sales of 600 million yuan.
The graphene produced by Taiwan Anju Technology Co., Ltd. using physical methods has the advantages of low cost, high mass production and no pollution compared to graphene produced by other manufacturing methods.
According to Hubei Daily, Xiantao, Hubei, is one of the top 100 county-level economies in China and the second largest gathering place for Taiwanese investment and businessmen in Hubei Province after Wuhan. In recent years, there are 64 Taiwanese-funded enterprises in Xiantao, which was awarded the first "Cross-Strait Industrial Cooperation Innovation Service Demonstration Base" by the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council.
