      It was learned from the Beijing Municipal Transportation Commission that starting from July 3, 2019, Beijing will completely cancel the activation fee for mobile phone cards. At that time, Android phone users and Huami watch users can open the "Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Interconnection Card" for free, and use a mobile phone to travel freely in more than 300 cities across the country, including Beijing. It is reported that Beijing is the first city in the country to completely cancel the activation fee for mobile phone cards.

With the gradual popularization of mobile payment in the transportation field, citizens are more concerned about related fees. In response to the issue of mobile card opening fees that has attracted public attention, at the beginning of this year, the Beijing Municipal Transportation Commission will cancel the mobile card opening fees as one of the key tasks this year. At present, Beijing Municipal Transportation Card Company and various mobile phone brands have completed various relevant preparations and realized the implementation of the free plan as scheduled.
