According to foreign media reports, Huawei has submitted "Hongmeng" trademark applications to almost all possible intellectual property organizations in the world...

According to foreign media Huawei Central, in August 2018, Huawei registered the "Hongmeng" trademark with the Trademark Office of the State Intellectual Property Office of China, and the trademark was approved on May 14, 2019. Now, the media has confirmed that Huawei has submitted "Hongmeng" trademark applications to almost all possible intellectual property organizations in the world.

It is understood that Huawei has submitted "Hongmeng" trademark applications in the following countries: Canada, Mexico, Spain, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Peru, Turkey, the Philippines, and European countries.

In addition to the above-mentioned countries and regions, Huawei may have submitted "Hongmeng" trademark applications in more countries, but they have not been seen.

It is worth noting that the media said that the "ARK OS (Ark Operating System)" trademark was not found in any other region except Europe, and the "Oak OS" trademark was not found in any trademark organization.

The trademarks Huawei has filed for the names have been categorized into a range of subcategories, including “operating system.” Similar to the Chinese trademark applications, these applications also indicate that the operating system supports a variety of platforms, including laptops, smartphones, tablets, smartwatches, wearable devices, the Internet of Things, and more.

Despite Google's concerns about Huawei's homegrown operating system, the Chinese giant appears to be moving fast towards breaking into the consumer market, and it looks like it will be there soon, except that the company has still not confirmed the trademark name.
