A netizen left a message saying: The rising edge is connected at the moment when the signal changes from disconnection to connection, and the falling edge is connected at the moment when the signal changes from connection to disconnection. But the question now is what are the practical uses of it. I also have a PLC around me. What experiment can I do to experience it?

Although LD X0 PLS M0 and LDP X0 out Y0

The execution result is the same, but Mitsubishi must have a reason for designing such a command. Can you tell me the actual occasion or condition under which this command is used?

The rising edge means that the signal is connected at the moment when it changes from disconnected to connected, and the falling edge means that the signal is connected at the moment when it changes from connected to disconnected. It means that it is connected instantly. No matter whether your execution conditions are met, the output will return to its original state after the instant execution. It is generally used together with the hold instruction, and the hold instruction is used as output or as a pulse; when using the OUT instruction, its state depends on the execution condition. If the execution condition is met, OUT will execute the output, and if the execution condition is not met, OUT will not execute the output.

I now understand these two instructions very well, let me explain them again, so that beginners can understand them better and faster? For example, if you press a switch for 10 seconds, it will normally be on for 10 seconds.

The rising edge is connected at the moment of connection, and it is not connected for more than 9 seconds. The falling edge is connected at the moment of disconnection. It is not connected for more than 9 seconds before, and it is connected at the moment of disconnection. This expression should be easier to understand.
