Imagine if the following annoying scenes frequently occur in life:

The memory capacity of the mobile phone is always stretched, and I have no choice but to change the mobile phone...

Want to reminisce about memorable moments, like your baby’s first steps or a family vacation, but your treasured family photos and videos are hard to find…

The company's documents are scattered in various places, and the retrieval of documents depends entirely on the remaining memory and "good luck", which is time-consuming and laborious.

force……

When photographers are out shooting, the process of storing, uploading and syncing photos and videos between different devices is extremely painful...

And finally defeated a creator, but his hard drive was damaged and could not be read...

Data is the "oil" of today's era and a valuable asset for both enterprises and individuals. However, the management and utilization of massive data face a series of challenges. Against this backdrop, NAS devices came into being, providing enterprises, individuals, creators and other users with a file management experience that is secure, economical, flexible and efficient, becoming a user's exclusive storage center.

Data is booming, and NAS is leading the new storage trend

NAS (Network Attached Storage), also known as network attached storage, is a network system solution that provides file-level data storage. NAS devices are closely connected to client computers and other devices through the network. Users can access data in NAS devices through different devices and perform file access, backup, and sharing operations in one stop.

For family members, NAS devices can not only serve as a home multimedia center, allowing them to store and share photos, videos, music and other files, but also as a private family database, automatically backing up data in mobile phones, computers and other devices while highly protecting privacy and security. Designers can use the Thunderbolt interface to turn NAS into a data center, quickly access 4K/8K film and television data, achieve real-time editing, and synchronize, collaborate and share data in different locations. Enterprises can turn NAS into a powerful data management and collaboration platform to ensure security, confidentiality and easy management. In short, NAS is like a private cloud storage solution tailored for users, with large space, expandability, more affordable and more secure.

AI is the new trend, and NAS devices are evolving

The NAS market is an emerging and growing market segment. Today, AI is everywhere, and a large number of AI application scenarios have been implemented. It is a general trend to give NAS more AI genes. We believe that AI NAS will become the mainstream of data storage management solutions in the future.

Thanks to the support of AI technology, AI NAS's data management has become more intelligent: it can intelligently identify and classify content when users upload documents or photos, classify and aggregate people, things, text, pictures, scenes, etc., and support intelligent and fast description search, which is smart and convenient. It can also blur sensitive content such as ID cards, and use super-resolution and other technologies to improve the clarity of old photos in batches. It is safe and reliable, and the experience is soaring. Not only that, AI NAS's localized self-learning ability can digest personal and corporate data and help users manage intelligently. In addition, the intelligent identification and retrieval of video content can also help designers greatly improve production efficiency.

We are very excited to see such intelligent and efficient AI NAS application scenarios continue to be implemented. In the past few years, the Intel team has been working with ecosystem partners to promote innovation and upgrades in NAS experience from the aspects of hardware, software and collaboration, as well as to expand new scenarios based on AI technology. AI NAS products can become smart assistants for data storage and management for individual families and small and medium-sized enterprise users. Intelligent storage and management of data is a core part of NAS development. We are collaborating with industry partners to fine-tune the AI NAS application experience through powerful processor platforms such as Intel® Core™ Ultra processors and software tools based on OpenVINO™.

With Intel's support, it's time to make NAS AI-enabled

We have been actively communicating and discussing with NAS industry partners to explore future product directions. Last year, we and the UGREEN team launched a new project to develop new products and technologies for AI NAS products and technologies. We provided UGREEN with hardware technology tuning and design review support based on Intel® Core™ platform and OpenVINO™, Thunderbolt design optimization, etc., to help UGREEN's new AI NAS products.

Yesterday, nine new products of the UGREEN NAS Private Cloud DXP series with dual to eight drive slots, powered by AI technology, and UGOS Pro developed by UGREEN Technology were officially released. With the support of Intel® Core™ and OpenVINO™ framework, the UGOS Pro system has realized the intelligent album management function based on AI technology, with more intelligent data classification, safer content management, and more convenient and easy-to-use search experience. UGREEN UGAI localized self-learning model can also realize new functions and applications such as blurred display of sensitive photos and album management of photos of people's backs.

We look forward to working with more partners to bring rich and diverse AI application experiences to the AI NAS market.

AIGC Acceleration, a New Chapter for Intelligent Storage

AI NAS equipped with Intel processor platform has shown significant advantages. It can not only serve as a data storage and sharing center, but also become a computing power center, providing a powerful computing platform for running AIGC applications in the future, helping small and medium-sized enterprises, designers and professional users to quickly produce new documents, pictures and video designs based on batch data through AI generative applications. When combined with AI PC, AI NAS can perform batch vector management of massive corporate documents, thereby realizing more application expansion of AI PC + AI NAS smart office.

We believe that with Intel platform solutions from cloud to end as the technical backing and AI technology as the clarion call for innovation in the era, we and partners such as UGREEN Technology will jointly explore and charge into the AI era for NAS products, and jointly develop NAS products and solutions equipped with generative AI applications. We have reason to believe that in the near future, we will see more innovative AI NAS products come out, providing consumers, small and medium-sized enterprises, creators and other users with solutions to cope with new challenges in the digital era, and driving the industry towards intelligence.
