Application Background
Traditional door locks require you to carry keys with you, which is inconvenient to carry and easy to lose. Smart locks can be unlocked by password, face recognition, fingerprint, etc., which can effectively solve the problem of needing to carry keys with you.
However, the smart locks on the market are expensive, and it is very inconvenient to dismantle the old locks to install smart locks. Therefore, this time we hope to add a fingerprint recognition unlocking function to the traditional bolt-type door lock to solve the trouble of carrying keys with you without having to change the lock again.

1. Fingerprint entry;
2. Fingerprint recognition;
3. Stepper motor simulates unlocking action.
System Framework
The MCU controls the fingerprint feature entry and fingerprint verification of the fingerprint module through the serial port, and the fingerprint module returns the recognition result through the serial port. The MCU decides whether to unlock the door based on the returned result. The unlocking action is achieved by the MCU sending a pulse signal to control the stepper motor driver and then control the stepper motor.
