Safety Library
The functional safety library of automotive MCU is a collection of software modules designed to meet the functional safety requirements of automotive electronic systems. It provides a series of functional safety functions and algorithms to monitor and control the operation of the system to ensure that the system can safely enter the fault state or safely resume normal operation when a fault occurs.
The core functions of the functional safety library for automotive MCUs include:
Fault detection and diagnosis: The functional safety library can monitor whether each part of the system is working properly, and diagnose and alarm when a fault is found. It can detect hardware faults, software errors, communication faults, etc., and provide corresponding fault diagnosis information.
Fault tolerance and recovery: The functional safety library can improve the fault tolerance of the system through redundant design and error handling algorithms. It can detect and correct errors or switch to backup mode when a failure occurs to ensure the reliability and stability of the system.
Security monitoring and protection: The functional safety library can monitor the security status of the system and take appropriate measures to protect the system from potential security threats. It can detect and prevent unauthorized access, data tampering, and malicious attacks, etc.
Secure communication and data protection: The functional safety library can provide secure communication protocols and encryption algorithms to protect the confidentiality and integrity of data transmitted in the system. It can prevent security risks such as data leakage, tampering and hijacking.
The functional safety library of automotive MCU is a collection of software modules designed to ensure that automotive electronic systems can safely enter a fault state or safely resume normal operation when a fault occurs. It provides core functions such as fault detection and diagnosis, fault tolerance and recovery, safety monitoring and protection, secure communication and data protection to improve system reliability and safety.
