The WITTE Digital flinkey BLE has been designed by Mercedes-Benz as a smart actuator for operating a vehicle key with central locking function and thus locking or unlocking the vehicle. Owners can access passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles and transport vehicles and lock or unlock the motor vehicle after the user has been authenticated and the corresponding command has been received via a smartphone app via the Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) interface.
Block diagram of the entire module: During operation, flinkey BLE receives protocol instructions via BLE and performs corresponding actions. Communication is based on BLE and occurs between flinkey BLE and smartphone applications. In addition to the motor mechanical infrastructure, an NFC gateway is provided, which can be used as an additional communication interface (reading NFC tokens). An RF Sniffer is installed to detect wireless signals emitted by activated vehicle keys. The entire solution can be integrated into existing systems through clearly defined interfaces (APIs).
