Alipay announces the launch of Huawei Hongmeng native application development

 According to news on December 8, Alipay and Huawei Terminal announced their cooperation on December 7, launching the development of Alipay’s Hongmeng native applications based on HarmonyOSNEXT, becoming another leading platform partner to launch the development of Hongmeng native applications.

Yu Chengdong, Managing Director of Huawei, CEO of Terminal BG, and Chairman of Smart Car Solutions BU, said: "Alipay's development of Hongmeng native applications reflects the new development of Hongmeng native applications. Ni Xingjun, president of Alipay Business Group, said that the cooperation between the two parties will further meet the needs of users to enjoy smart life services on different terminals and in different scenarios. At the same time, Huawei’s digital layout in the field of Alipay mini programs is also conducive to improving the operating efficiency of merchants in the two ecosystems.

According to reports, so far, nearly half of the Top 20 mobile Internet applications have started the development of Hongmeng native applications.
