Coffee machines can usually be set to different amounts of different coffees, such as cappuccino with more milk foam and American coffee with more water, which is all achieved by flow meter control.
Adding a Hall flowmeter to the coffee machine can achieve flow control. The Hall flowmeter has a built-in bipolar magnet and impeller, and the top cover contains a Hall element. When the liquid enters the flow from the pipe, it drives the impeller containing the magnet to rotate. The GS value generated by the rotation of the impeller is converted into a pulse signal output through the Hall element.
That is, when current passes through a conductor perpendicular to the external magnetic field, an additional electric field is generated perpendicular to the direction of the current and the magnetic field, thereby generating a potential difference at both ends of the conductor. The coffee machine controller determines the change in liquid flow through the pulse signal output by the flow meter, thereby controlling the extraction of different amounts of milk foam, espresso, and water to make different coffees.
The Hall flowmeter has a simple structure. You only need to insert the tube into the two ends of the flowmeter inlet and outlet, and then use the wire with terminals at both ends, plug one end into the flowmeter pin and the other end into the coffee controller. It has the advantages of safety, reliability, sensitive response, long service life, high re-reading accuracy and flow detection accuracy, and can achieve ±2% accuracy.
