The working principle of the infrared sensor is to emit infrared light, which is reflected from the prism, and the sensor is judged whether it is in water or air based on the reflection. Therefore, it will not be affected when used in a closed or dark environment.
Conventional LED lights and ambient light will not affect the sensor. What will affect the sensor are halogen lamp lights and sunlight. This type of light directly hits the sensor detection surface and interferes with the sensor.
Therefore, when using in such an environment, attention should be paid to anti-interference measures such as sensor installation method, structural changes, and color changes.
