In electronic products, both batteries and capacitors store electrical energy and provide power for electronic products. But why is it that batteries are a household name, and everyone from 80-year-olds to 3-year-old children know about them, while capacitors, which also play an important role in electronic products, are rarely known? It's simple, because of their installation locations and ease of installation, many people know about batteries but not capacitors.
Batteries are very common in our daily life and are suitable for most electronic products. They come in different sizes, ranging from large batteries like those used in electric cars to small button batteries used in electronic watches. Most of these batteries are installed on the back cover of electronic products for convenience.
When the battery in an electronic product is dead or has a problem, you don't need to use any tools. Just open the back cover, take out the battery, and replace it with a new one and you can continue using it. It is very convenient to buy batteries now. Generally, convenience stores, small supermarkets, roadside stalls, etc. sell batteries, so you don't have to worry about not being able to buy batteries.
The capacitor is welded to the circuit board inside the electronic product, and the shell is fixed with screws, which is inconvenient to remove. When there is a problem with the capacitor, you need to use tools to open the shell, remove the broken capacitor, and replace it with an equivalent model for welding.
Capacitor welding requires special tools, which are not available in most households, unless the family is specialized in repair or has a hobby in this area. Therefore, if there is a problem inside the electronic product that cannot be solved by oneself, it should be sent for repair. Moreover, capacitors are not available everywhere like batteries, so you have to go to a store that specializes in selling capacitors to buy them.
