Shanghai, China, August 3, 2023 – Farnell, a global distributor of electronic components and solutions under Avnet, announced the addition of the new Arduino Pro Portenta C33 system-on-module (SOM) to its product line. This cost-effective, high-performance, streamlined platform has industrial-grade quality and security to help advance IoT automation.


Portenta C33 provides users with the high performance widely recognized by the Portenta series at a lower price through a series of optimizations and streamlined functions. It is the first choice for developing industrial and real-time applications. It is equipped with the Arm® Cortex®-M33 microcontroller of Renesas Electronics, a global semiconductor solution provider, and supports MicroPython and other high-level programming languages.
