Stepper motors are popular for position control in computers and microcontrollers, such as CNC machines, robotics, industrial automation, 3D printers, and camera control. The TMC2100-LA motor driver chip is suitable for the motor driver field of 3D printing, cameras, scanners and other automation equipment. This chip has an integrated micro-stepping indexer and a completely noiseless current control mode StealthChop for driving bipolar stepper motors. Configured as a full H-bridge, the drive motor is the winding, and the output driver module is composed of a low RDSonN-channel power MOSFET. The TMC2100-LA is capable of driving up to 2.5A of current from each output drive (with proper heat dissipation). The device has a step and direction interface with configurable digital pins.
