In the high-voltage cabinet with spring energy storage operating mechanism, energy must be stored before closing. The energy storage mechanism is driven by the motor to extend the spring. There are two operating methods: electric and manual. If the manual operation cannot store energy, it should be a mechanical failure of the mechanism. The manual operation can store energy, but the electric operation cannot store energy, which is an electrical failure. The mechanism that has been used for a short time has little mechanical wear and generally does not have mechanical failure. The following mainly analyzes electrical failures.
1. Improper adjustment of the travel switch: The travel switch is a limit switch that controls the energy storage position of the motor. When the motor is fully charged, the motor power supply is cut off. If the limit is too high, the mechanism is fully charged. The fault phenomenon is: the motor does not stop when idling, and the energy storage indicator light is not on. The motor can only be stopped by turning on the control switch (HK). When the limit is adjusted too low, the motor stops prematurely because the energy storage is not full. The switch cannot be closed because the energy storage is not in place. The method to adjust the limit is to manually charge slowly to find the correct position and tighten it.
2. Motor failure: If the motor winding is burned, there will be odor, smoke, fuse blowing and other phenomena. If there is voltage at both ends of the motor, the motor will not rotate. It may be a carbon brush falling off or severe wear and tear. The method to determine whether it is a motor failure is to measure the voltage and resistance at both ends of the motor or replace it with another good motor for inspection.
3. Control switch failure or circuit open: When the control switch is damaged and the circuit cannot be closed, or the control circuit is broken and causes an open circuit, the fault manifestation is that the motor does not rotate and there is no voltage at both ends of the motor. The search method is to use a multimeter to measure voltage or resistance. The voltage measurement method is to adjust the multimeter to the voltage range when the control circuit is powered on. If there is voltage (except for the voltage-reducing element), there is an open circuit point between the two points being measured. When using the resistance measurement method, attention should be paid to the on-off of the bypass. If there is a bypass parallel circuit, one end of the measured circuit should be disconnected.
