Whether it is programming language or operating system, large or low-level software is rarely written in Chinese. Previously, there was an operating system called "Fire Dragon" that claimed to be the first Chinese-written operating system in the universe. It was said to be written in self-created Language A and Language B, and the interface was also in Win11 style.

This "Fire Dragon" operating system has been open sourced on Gitee. Judging from the earliest update time, it seems to have been released two years ago, but there was no news before that, and the latest update was two months ago.

According to the developer Jason.Shao, the "Fire Dragon" operating system is the first operating system in the universe written in Chinese. It is developed using the self-created Language A and Language B, supports 64-bit multi-core multi-tasking graphics, uses paged memory management, and has a Windows 11 interface style UI. It supports x86_64 and ARMv8 (QEMU tested only) architectures.

In other aspects, the "Fire Dragon" operating system also supports 32-bit true color display, with a resolution of up to 2560x1080, supports 300 commonly used Win APIs, supports some exe programs, supports USB, and even supports Intel's 11th-generation Core Tiger Lake core graphics.

In general, this "Fire Dragon" operating system looks very good and powerful. Considering that it was developed by an individual, it has attracted many people. However, judging from the comments, some people have discovered clues and pointed out that this so-called operating system developed entirely in Chinese is nothing more than a plagiarism of the "Paper Doll Operating System" in the Japanese book "30-Day Homemade Operating System" by Hidemi Kawai.

Win11 style, the first Chinese-written operating system in the universe, "Fire Dragon", is suspected of plagiarism

According to another developer dragon-os, the so-called "language A" is actually the asm assembly language, which uses a clumsy text replacement method to replace instructions such as mov with the clumsy "move", which is just a change of name.

"Language B" is C language, and the z_tools directory is the folder in the source code CD of "30-Day Homemade Operating System". It's too obvious.
