1. Safety of explosion-proof solenoid valve

1. Corrosive media: Plastic King solenoid valves and all stainless steel are recommended; for highly corrosive media, isolation diaphragm type must be selected. For example, CD-F.Z3CF. For neutral media, it is also recommended to use solenoid valves with copper alloy as the valve shell material, otherwise, rust chips often fall off the valve shell, especially in occasions where the operation is not frequent. Ammonia valves cannot be made of copper.

2. Explosive environment: products with corresponding explosion-proof grade must be selected. Waterproof and dustproof products should be selected for outdoor installation or dusty occasions.

3. The nominal pressure of the solenoid valve should exceed the maximum working pressure in the pipe.


2. Reliability of explosion-proof solenoid valve

1. Working life: This item is not included in the factory test items, but belongs to the type test items. To ensure the quality, you should choose the famous brand products of regular manufacturers.

2. Working mode: divided into three types: long-term working mode, repeated short-time working mode and short-time working mode. Our company's conventional products are all long-term working mode, and the coil is allowed to be powered on for a long time. For the situation where the valve is open for a long time and only closed for a short time, it is advisable to use a normally open solenoid valve. When used in short-time working mode and the batch is large, special orders can be made to reduce power consumption.

3. Working frequency: When the operating frequency requirement is high, the structure should preferably be a direct-acting solenoid valve, and the power supply should preferably be AC.

4. Action reliability

Strictly speaking, this test has not been formally included in the professional standards of solenoid valves in my country. To ensure quality, you should choose brand-name products from regular manufacturers. In some occasions, the number of actions is not large, but the reliability requirements are very high, such as fire protection and emergency protection, so you must not take it lightly. It is particularly important to use two double insurances in succession.


3. Economical performance of explosion-proof solenoid valve

It is one of the criteria for selection, but it must be economical on the basis of safety, applicability and reliability.

Economy is not just about the selling price of the product, but also its function and quality as well as the cost of installation, maintenance and other accessories.

More importantly, the cost of a solenoid valve in the entire automatic control system and even in the production line is negligible. If you try to save a little and make the wrong choice, the damage will be huge.

Selection basis of explosion-proof solenoid valve

1. Select the solenoid valve according to the pressure parameters: principle and structure variety

1) Nominal pressure: This parameter has the same meaning as other common valves and is determined according to the nominal pressure of the pipeline;

2) Working pressure: If the working pressure is low, the direct-acting or step-by-step direct-acting principle must be selected; when the minimum working pressure difference is above 0.04Mpa, the direct-acting, step-by-step direct-acting and pilot-operated types can be selected.

2. Electrical selection: The voltage specifications should preferably be AC220V and DC24, which is more convenient.

3. Choose according to the duration of continuous working: normally closed, normally open, or continuously powered

1) When the solenoid valve needs to be opened for a long time and the duration is longer than the closing time, the normally open type should be selected;

2) If the opening time is short or the opening and closing time is not much, choose the normally closed type;

3) However, for some working conditions used for safety protection, such as furnace and kiln flame monitoring, the normally open type cannot be selected, and the type that can be powered on for a long time should be selected.

4. Select auxiliary functions according to environmental requirements: explosion-proof, non-return, manual, waterproof fog, water spray, diving. Select the solenoid valve according to pipeline parameters: diameter specification (DN)
