The robot market is booming. According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics, the demand for industrial robots has continued to recover since March, with the monthly output reaching 23,200 units in September, a year-on-year increase of 51.4%, setting a new record; the output of service robots also achieved a year-on-year growth rate of more than 70% in a single month.
In this environment, how can the robotics industry be promoted? How can robots better serve society?
On October 28, at the "2020 China International Digital Economy Conference and Exhibition" guided by the Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology and the People's Government of Futian District, Shenzhen, and hosted by the high-tech industry portal OFweek, Ms. He Ying, General Manager of Shenzhen Kewei Robot Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Shenzhen Kewei), which won the "Veko Cup OFweek 2020 (Fifth) Artificial Intelligence Industry Most Investment Value Award", accepted an exclusive interview with OFweek, talking about the development of Shenzhen Kewei and how to empower the robotics industry ecosystem and traditional industries.

Background of the establishment of Shenzhen Kewei
According to General Manager He, before its establishment, the Shenzhen Kewei team had been in the field of artificial intelligence for nearly 10 years. Since 2011, they have focused on the research and development and production of robots, which is the front end of the robotics industry.
Since 2018, the Shenzhen Kewei team has moved from the front end to the back end, shifting its main business to leasing and sales, and paying attention to the latest information in the entire robotics industry.
So in April 2018, Shenzhen Kewei Robot Technology Co., Ltd. was established.
Shenzhen Kewei's brand and advantages
Mr. He pointed out that Shenzhen Kewei's brand positioning is very simple, that is, an Internet platform company specializing in robot rental and sales and information services. The main advantages are concentrated in four points, which can be said to be a four-in-one advantage.
Shenzhen Kewei integrates online and offline rental and sales platforms. The first point is that there is "Haoluobo.com" online. Haoluobo.com mainly actively collects robot products from all over the world, takes the lead in laying out the global robot industry chain, and builds a professional one-stop robot rental and sales platform. In addition, in the information section, Haoluobo.com focuses on content source operation, outputs industry information and organizes events and competitions.
The second point is offline services. Shenzhen Kewei has established 30 wholly-owned subsidiaries and offline experience centers and 300 agents in first-tier cities in China, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Wuhan, and Chongqing.
The combination of the first and second advantages has formed an online display, consultation and promotion of products, and an offline product showroom where customers can experience, sell and provide after-sales services offline. Shenzhen Kewei can effectively reduce the operation and maintenance and labor costs of the robot brands and accelerate the implementation of products through a 7X24-hour one-stop national robot networking service system and a national professional after-sales service team.
The third point is that in addition to Shenzhen Kewei's own products, Haoluobo.com cooperates with large domestic and foreign robot companies to connect global robot products and manage them through products as a platform. Shenzhen Kewei has 30 wholly-owned subsidiaries across the country. In order to provide support for the real-time online management of personnel, finance, and materials of each subsidiary, Shenzhen Kewei has developed a digital operation platform. Through the digital operation platform, the management and control efficiency is improved, and efficient office management, omni-channel data integration, refined equipment management, and high-quality rental and sales services can be achieved, and accurate data support can be provided for customers' various decisions.
Fourth, Shenzhen Kewei has a Lingji Cloud Brain Platform. The Lingji Cloud Brain Platform is the first in the industry to send service robots of different manufacturers and standards to the "cloud", realizing information sharing, functional coordination, and optimization and upgrading of robots.
Mr. He pointed out, "The Lingji Cloud Brain Platform can bring all our own and integrated products online, because we know that not only one product can accomplish everything, nor one person can accomplish everything. What we need is a team."
"It's the same for robot products. What we need is an overall solution for a certain environment or industry. We need to dispatch many robots with different functions to complete a certain task. So we developed the Lingji Cloud Brain Platform ourselves."
Two star products on display
At this exhibition, Shenzhen Kewei brought two of its star products.
Mr. He pointed out that the reason for choosing these two products for display is that they are closely related to the current environment. "In addition to displaying, we hope to make more contributions to the forum and exhibition."
One of the products displayed by Shenzhen Kewei is an intelligent temperature measurement gate robot. "This product was independently developed and promoted by Shenzhen Kewei and its strategic partner Shenzhen Zhongzhi Weian Robot Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Zhongzhi Weian) when the epidemic broke out at the beginning of this year. At the beginning of the epidemic, we quickly formed an AI robot response team for epidemic prevention and control through remote means, upgraded our original robots, added temperature measurement functions, and put this product on the market as soon as possible. Now this product is widely used in China. It is a contactless temperature measurement product, and it also has functions such as clocking in and out, welcoming guests, and information query. It is not only a temperature measurement product, but also a multi-functional service robot." said Mr. He.
The other is a disinfection spray robot. "For large environments and places with dense traffic, air and ground disinfection is crucial, especially in this period. So we brought in an intelligent temperature measurement gate robot and a disinfection spray robot. By measuring temperature, screening body temperature at the front end can minimize hidden dangers; the other one is disinfection, which disinfects and sterilizes the environment without dead ends."
Speaking of these two robots, Mr. He talked about Shenzhen Kewei's corporate mission. "We officially launched the anti-epidemic robot products on the market on February 14 this year. With the social responsibility of a technology-based enterprise, we immediately launched a five-month series of donations instead of product sales. In just two months, we donated no less than 50 AI anti-epidemic robots, with a total donation value of more than 6 million yuan."

"The donation scenarios are very wide. The earliest donations were made to hospitals because we felt that hospitals were in urgent need at that time, and we hoped to contribute the strength of technology companies to our angels in white. As we gradually donated, we were faced with the reopening of schools. We believed that children's safety was very important, so our donations began to extend to schools across the country. Then from schools to government halls, such as Shenzhen's entry and exit and airports, because at that time there was still a certain risk of infection sources abroad."
"Later, our robots helped cinemas recover. As a local company in Shenzhen, we started by helping Shenzhen cinemas resume work. At that time, we deployed more than 260 cinemas in Shenzhen within 10 days. Basically, all the Shenzhen cinemas that started operating at the beginning used our products. At this time, we also received reports from CCTV6 Movie Channel, local satellite TV stations, various first-line portals and vertical media. Some of them came from Beijing, not afraid of the severe epidemic, and we were very moved. We are also very grateful to the Shenzhen Film Association for the early communication and grafting for us."

"Starting from Shenzhen, we have gradually expanded to the entire province of Guangdong as well as Shanghai, Beijing and other cities. Now, more than 1,200 cinemas across the country are using our products."
"In addition, more than 500 supermarkets across the country, such as Haidilao in Guangzhou, China Southern Airlines' terminal, most of the China Resources Vanguard supermarkets, Hema Fresh, and more than 2,100 office buildings across the country, such as Vanke Binhai Cloud Center, Beijing Oriental Ginza, and Yangtze River Runfa Group, also use our products. The market penetration and application rate of our products have been highly recognized by the society."
"I often receive text messages from friends who send me pictures and ask, 'Oh, is this your product? It's so cute.' In fact, this product is often seen by everyone, and the overall customer feedback is very good. Its functions are very stable."
