AVC and China Market Research both confirmed that in 2019, Xiaomi TV's shipments and sales ranked first in China, with shipments reaching 10.46 million units, making it the first TV brand in the Chinese market to have annual shipments exceeding 10 million!
According to data from iiMedia Research, in 2019, for every 5 TVs sold in the Chinese market, one was a Xiaomi TV, with an annual sales market share of 19.25%.
Moreover, Xiaomi TV has taken the top spot in sales in the five major mainstream size segments of 32 inches, 43 inches, 50 inches, 65 inches and 70 inches.
Interesting figures summarized by Xiaomi show that the cumulative height of Xiaomi TVs sold in 2019 is equivalent to 829 Mount Everests; an average of 19 units are sold every minute; or from another perspective, the number of Xiaomi TVs sold throughout the year is equivalent to the total shipments of the three traditional TV giants, Changhong, Konka and Haier.
Li Xiaoshuang, general manager of Xiaomi TV, said that in the context of the rise of Chinese brands, Xiaomi TV became the first brand to achieve 10 million shipments, and its underlying logic lies in the Xiaomi model of "Internet + Hardware + New Retail". I believe that with the support of sales, Xiaomi TV will have more power to invest in the research and development of key areas such as appearance, new technology, picture quality, audio, etc. in the future, and deliver a better report card.
