Recently, Cambricon, a domestic AI chip unicorn, and Inspur signed a strategic cooperation agreement on Metabrain. The two parties will integrate high-quality product and technology R&D resources to jointly develop the best domestic and world-leading artificial intelligence industry solutions, and use the power of the Metabrain ecosystem to accelerate the implementation of leading AI solutions and the construction of intelligent computing centers.
The signing of the Metabrain strategic cooperation agreement between Inspur and Cambricon means that the scope of cooperation between the two parties has been further expanded from product adaptation to joint development of artificial intelligence solutions for specific industry scenarios. Previously, Inspur AI servers NF5468M5 and NF5280M5 were adapted to Cambricon's Siyuan 270 and Siyuan 100 series of various intelligent acceleration cards, which can support a variety of artificial intelligence applications such as vision, voice, natural language processing and traditional machine learning, meeting the cloud-based reasoning computing needs of various scenarios. At present, they have been applied in many industries such as the Internet, communications, and AI computing platforms.
Since its establishment, Cambrian has been adhering to the concept of openness and working closely with upstream and downstream of the industry chain to jointly promote the ecological prosperity of the entire AI industry. The current demand for artificial intelligence computing is growing exponentially and will account for more than 80% of computing demand in the future. Intelligent computing centers are AI computing centers that carry this demand and will be the new infrastructure of the intelligent era. As artificial intelligence is included in the framework of "new infrastructure", intelligent computing centers that carry and supply artificial intelligence computing power will inevitably become one of the core infrastructures for social and economic operations.
