Siemens appeared at the 2019 China International Industry Fair with the theme of "Digital Enterprise - Thinking about the Future of Industry!" At this expo, Siemens fully demonstrated its one-stop product portfolio and services covering the entire cycle of enterprise digital transformation, including assessment, consulting, integration, implementation and data services, in China for the first time, to help enterprises of different sizes and development stages solve the pain points and difficulties on the road to digital transformation, and help Chinese enterprises to implement digital transformation. At the same time, Siemens demonstrated the application prospects of cutting-edge technologies such as edge computing, artificial intelligence, additive manufacturing and industrial 5G in the industrial field, opening up new possibilities in terms of efficiency and flexibility. Siemens also signed cooperation agreements with multiple companies to help customers in the pharmaceutical, chemical and other industries continue to promote digital transformation, and jointly explore the industrial application of additive manufacturing with additive manufacturing equipment suppliers.

The global industrial value chain is undergoing a new round of changes. China's industry has unique advantages with its huge market size, mature industrial ecology and high-quality talents, but it urgently needs to rely on digital technology to meet the market's higher requirements for customization, innovation speed and product quality. Wang Haibin, Executive Vice President of Siemens (China) Co., Ltd. and General Manager of Siemens Digital Industries Group Greater China, said: "Siemens can provide customers with unique one-stop digital enterprise solutions. With rich industrial software, the world's leading industrial product portfolio and cloud-based open IoT operating system MindSphere, we can create digital twins for customers covering the entire value chain of products, production and performance to achieve higher flexibility, higher production efficiency, shorter time to market and better product quality, helping Chinese companies take a solid step towards digital transformation."

During the exhibition, Siemens and CCID Lingxi, an intelligent manufacturing assessment consulting agency, jointly launched a new "digital enterprise portrait" - the digital enterprise capability assessment model (Digital Enterprise Portrait). The previous version of this model was first released in 2018, and nearly 3,000 assessment reports have been generated so far. The upgraded "Digital Enterprise Portrait" relies on Siemens' experience in supporting the digital transformation of thousands of customers in different industries around the world and its own digital production and operation management system, combined with CCID Lingxi's intelligent manufacturing assessment experience, to comprehensively assess the digital capabilities and development status of enterprises from six dimensions: strategic planning, organizational management, system integration, production management, data governance, and cutting-edge applications, helping enterprises to accurately grasp the best entry point and direction of action for digitalization.

The high complexity of digital transformation of industrial enterprises means that enterprises need to rely on professional digital consulting services to "tailor" and create customized digital transformation solutions. Based on strong technical expertise and industry experience, Siemens' digital consulting team decouples complex enterprise systems into multiple perspectives such as business processes, applications, data, and operations to ensure the effective promotion and implementation of digital transformation projects. During the exhibition, Siemens signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Nippon Paint Investment Co., Ltd. to provide comprehensive technical consulting services for Nippon Paint's industrial coatings digital factory project, helping it to build a benchmark for digital factories in China's coatings industry.

By exploring the integration of cutting-edge technologies and product portfolios such as edge computing, artificial intelligence, additive manufacturing and industrial 5G, Siemens will help industrial companies benefit from the rapidly growing amount of data in new and more extensive ways. Siemens and Hunan Huashu High-Tech Co., Ltd. signed a strategic framework cooperation agreement on additive manufacturing during the exhibition, and will provide it with NX end-to-end software and fully integrated automation digital twin solutions. The two parties will carry out all-round cooperation on expanding the industrial application scenarios of additive manufacturing.

The two parties will carry out further in-depth cooperation in the exploration and practice of pharmaceutical industry solutions, and jointly create an "Industry 4.0" practice example in the pharmaceutical industry. Siemens also signed a strategic cooperation agreement on the digital factory of traditional Chinese medicine with Fatai (Tianjin) Technology Co., Ltd. to jointly explore the application of SIPAT in continuous manufacturing and the application scenarios of MindSphere in the traditional Chinese medicine industry. At the same time, Siemens signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Jiangsu Keruien Automation Technology Co., Ltd. to build a digital platform for it through an advanced digital enterprise product portfolio and create a digital factory model project. Siemens also signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Cybernaut Investment Group Co., Ltd. The two parties will jointly build and innovate centers and use Siemens industrial software products to jointly build an intelligent manufacturing training platform to promote the digital upgrade of local industries.
