"The electronic and electrical architecture of the entire vehicle has evolved from distributed to centralized, which has put forward higher requirements on the security, real-time performance and computing power of main control chips such as MCU; in recent years, the localization rate of body and cockpit chips has increased significantly, but the localization rate of high-end core domain control chips, especially those involving high-safety and high-reliability power, chassis, intelligent driving and other fields, is relatively low due to late start, long R&D cycle and high threshold." The second-generation automotive domain control chip THA6 series created by Tsinghua Unigroup is the first Arm Cortex-R52+ core ASIL D MCU in China. It has been recognized by many Tier1 and OEMs. It is fully comparable to international manufacturers in terms of safety, reliability, and real-time performance. It has excellent multi-core performance and can meet the needs of industry customers in application scenarios such as power domain, chassis domain, body domain and intelligent driving domain.


As the chassis enters the era of full digitalization and intelligence, how domestic suppliers seize this opportunity is also a big test.

In Shu Qiang's opinion, the chassis will enter a fully digitalized and intelligent era, which will bring about many profound changes. We can seize opportunities in the following directions:


1. Strengthen exchanges and cooperation with domestic and foreign peers and upstream and downstream companies, accurately determine the development trend and rhythm of chassis technology, and ensure that technology and product planning meet market demand;


Second, the performance of the intelligent chassis is mainly defined by software and control algorithms. It is necessary to carry out in-depth basic research and application in tire mechanics, chassis system dynamics, automatic control, etc. to maximize the control effect of each chassis system;


3. The degrees of freedom of each chassis system will increase, and we need to actively explore more chassis movement modes, postures and scenarios to give full play to the advantages of coordinated control of various chassis systems;


4. Intelligent chassis technology requires multidisciplinary talents. It is necessary to strengthen the collaboration of talents from various disciplines within the team and pay attention to the cultivation of interdisciplinary and compound talents.
