Detailed schematic of LTC2380-24 (preferably single-ended input to differential) [Copy link]

I recently wanted to use LTC2380-24 as my acquisition, but there are two problems

1. There are some resistor and capacitor opts on the official evaluation board, but I don’t really understand how to choose the values.

2. Mine is single-ended input, so I want to know the detailed schematic diagram of converting single-ended input to differential.

I need help from you guys!

If you must use LTC2380, and it has single-ended input, is it feasible to connect one of the two input terminals of your LTC2380 to the ground and the other to the signal source?

For single-ended to differential conversion, please refer to the circuit matching resistor in the LT6363 data sheet and choose LT5400

OPT mainly depends on the filter parameters to choose according to your actual signal

That feels weird, its data sheet actually has single-ended to differential conversion, but it's not very detailed.

There are many single-ended 24-bit A/Ds, so why must we use LTC2380? And it seems that this chip is also quite expensive.  Details Published on 2019-12-25 16:56

Isn't differential input supposed to reduce common-mode noise?

Comments

"Doesn't differential input reduce common-mode noise?" Your input signal is a single-ended signal, so there is no common-mode noise at all.  Details Published on 2019-12-26 08:30

Can you recommend a 24-bit single-ended input ADC with a sampling frequency of 100k or above?
