Application scenarios:
①The rain sensor can identify whether it is raining and request intermittent, low-speed or high-speed wiping according to the current rainfall.
②The light sensor can identify daytime, nighttime, tunnel, and garage modes, and decide whether to turn on or off the lights according to the current environment. It can also support the emission of forward light and directional light to the HUD for backlight adjustment.
③The sunlight sensor can realize the temperature adjustment function of dual-zone independent air conditioning according to the intensity of external sunlight radiation energy.
④The temperature and humidity sensor can determine whether it is necessary to turn on the air conditioner for defog based on the temperature and humidity of the inner surface of the cabin glass.
Future prospects:
The rain light sensor is a driver assistance system that automatically activates the windshield wiper system when it rains and the low beam system when it is dark, reducing the driver's stress, thereby significantly improving in-car safety and comfort. Autonomous vehicles and connected cars are attracting consumer interest and will be more widely accepted in the future. In 2023, China's passenger cars totaled 30 million, and the installation rate of rain light sensors was about 50%, and this installation rate is still increasing. Rain sensors, which were previously only available on high-end cars, are now popular in mid-to-high-end cars, and are even beginning to appear in low-end models.
